on the last day I got my statement, and I found out there was one double charge. I went to Front Office, one gentleman tried to call someone to confirm, but it took almost one hour and nobody could confirm. He promised me he would handle it. After I came home, I checked my credit card transaction, they didn't handle the double charge, even worse, the total charges are more than the statement they gave me. I sent an email to them, no response yet. After cruise, looks like not enough customer service.

Bearding was a breeze. We arrived at the port at 11, and by 11:30 were on the ship. Our room (inside) was a good size, with a queen bed and a loveseat area. The bath was always clean. You can request a basket of fresh fruit for your cabin each day, and they encourage room service breakfast by providing a menu each day. Our stewards greeted us by name every time they saw us in the hall. I liked having all the light switches on the headboard- it made it easy to read at night, and to turn on lights in the morning. There were plenty of places to hang out on board, indoors and outside, with others, or to sit quietly and read. The volume did get loud in the Crow's Nest on the 9th floor. Also, I don't know why they put the library right next to the casino- it got noisy from the slots at times. Announcements were only twice a day, so didn't interfere, though they were a little too chirpy and enthusiastic for my taste. We opted for free seating, which allowed us to book what time we'd like to eat. We were able to get the same table for three nights. You can call ahead to book your table, or just show up. We also tried the new Canaletto specialty restaurant. The food overall was excellent. The portion sizes are smaller than most Americans are used to, but you can order multiples of anything. The breakfast in the Rotterdam dining room was excellent, although the service was slow, probably due to the large variety on the menu, and prep of individual meals, as opposed to the shorter dinner menu. The Lido food was excellent, and often included dishes from the formal dining room. And freshly squeezed orange juice every day! There was always a line of 3-4 people for the omelets and panini grill. The special entertainment was great - the comedians were really funny, and the Elton John tribute as well. The ship-based entertainment, dancers and singers, were good. For our cruise, blankets were provided instead of towels at the outside pool. I enjoyed sitting wrapped in a blanket watching the scenery go by. In Glacier Bay, there was commentary on what we were looking at, and what to look for, throughout the day, but only on certain decks. I was disappointed in the front desk staff - they were not very helpful and made several mistakes about our returning paperwork, where things were located, etc. I was also disappointed that the Digital Labs were held only a few times a day, not staffed all day, and that you could only work on your personal projects for only one of the three sessions. The sessions were so basic that my grandmother would skip them! What a waste! Overall, I loved the cruise, the staff, and the ship. It was well maintained, and the staff were always very pleasant and positive.

We loved cruising on this ship. We were impressed with the staff and the cabin. The hairdresser in the spa was top notch. The food in the main dining room was good but not particularly memorable. However, the cooking classes were a lot of fun and the food delicious. The dining room staff was impressive. Our head waiter made sure that one of the guests at our table had his special menu requirements met even when the guest forgot to tell them ahead of time. The cabin was large and very attractive and the bed was soooo comfortable. We love the fact that you could have meals delivered to your cabin anytime especially if you were going to leave early for a tour. The specialty cocktails were delicious and fun. There was lots to do to keep you entertained and the guest lectures were interesting and very useful. The casual dining in the Lido was excellent especially for breakfast and lunch. We would without a doubt recommend this ship to anyone. The staff is comfortably friendly and always very helpful. We are looking forward to crusing with this line again.
