In Cozumel, Mexico, we recommend a visit to Chankanaab National Park.

Chankanaab National Park was established by the Mexican government in 1980, and is just a 5-10-minute cab ride from where the cruise ships dock. The shore line here is rocky and is entered via stone steps, but there is also a small sandy beach area in a protected cove that's perfect for small children.
When you've had enough action for the day, the sandy shore is lined with lounge chairs, hammocks, and thatched umbrellas, and strolling waiters bring you food and drinks. It's a great way to relax before you head back to your ship.
