Excellent experience, concerned staff, August 9, 2014

Pros: The service and food
Cons: Smallish stateroom -- too many mirrors!
Departure port: Paris
Region visited: Europe
Cabin category: Outside
Cabin number: 118
Good for children: Yes
Good for teenagers: No
We had an excellent time cruising on the Seine to Normandy. While the stateroom was somewhat small it was large enough to accommodate our needs. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The beds and linens were extremely comfortable. All toiletries were provided, including robes, slippers, hair dryers and an illuminated mirror. We did not spend much time in room, most time spent on deck and in lounge. The food was wonderful and professionally presented. The chef accommodated my allergies and offered options. The staff were very professional. The sit-where-you-wish policy enabled us to meet many people, adding to the experience. The staff was wonderful, the dining room staff, the cabin preparation staff, the lounge staff, the front desk and the social director. The staff made us feel special and we wnjoyed the "quiet ship" -- no announcements to disturb the peace was wonderful. The highlight was the ship returning to Paris at night, and stopping with a clear view of the Eiffel Tower lit up during its light show. The excursions were wonderful with most of the guides being extremely informative. Uniworld is a quality company. I recommend this cruise without reservations.
