This new web site, which debuted on September 15^th, is the first commercial web site that lets travelers search for and select a specific cruise ship and sail date, then receive quotes from multiple, independent travel agencies to get the lowest price.

"Bookings have just exploded," says Bob Levinstein, CruiseCompete's CEO. "Last week's numbers were triple those of the week before, and this week's are double last week's. We seem to have really struck a chord with cruisers."

A simple interface lets the consumer quickly identify a specific cruise and enter pertinent passenger and cabin information as well as comments.
