Reviewer: a2AZo999
Pros: The gorgeous, breathtaking fjords
Cons: Not a lot of nightlife
Date of cruise: August 1, 2023
Departure port: Bergen
Region visited: Europe
Cabin category: Inside
Cabin number: ?
Good for teenagers: Yes
It's basically a commuter boat, taking local Norwegians from the bottom to the top of their country and to many towns in between. So we as guests get to see what life in Norway is like, travel on a relatively small ship, and enjoy many sights along the way from Bergen to Sami country and the Northern Lights. One of the highlights was getting on a small rubber motorboat and shooting across a bay so clean we could feel and smell the oxygen in our lungs. Another plus was to spend time in Oslo at the various museums and especially the amazing sculpture park. Lovely people, beautiful country, and great literature from Norwegian writers that I learned upon taking the trip.
