Nice ship, rooms, excellent trip overall, April 28, 2016
Reviewer: captfred34
Pros: Really enjoyed the ship, it was impressive
Cons: Rude passengers and a few stupid staff members but that's expected
Departure port: Ft. lauderdale
Region visited: Caribbean - Eastern
Cabin category: Jr. Suite
Cabin number: 9272
It was a great cruise, needed a wheelchair for boarding which took too long, on ship early, room not ready until 1 p.m., junior suite was great! Overall food was good to excellent, Chops Grille not worth the money. It was included for us our friends paid for their meal, Princess charges $10 less and the food is much better. Most of the staff was excellent, entertainment good to great, disembarkation crazy! Half the passengers carried their bags off early, they were great getting us off in the wheelchair, try to not get hurt two weeks before your cruise if possible :((

Overall experience very good: Watch out for Soot!, November 13, 2015

Pros: Well maintained, large ship
Cons: Soot on deck of Royal Family Suite
Date of cruise: November 1, 2015
Departure port: Fort Lauderdale
Region visited: Caribbean - Western
Cabin category: Suite
Cabin number: 8714
Good for children: Yes
Good for teenagers: Yes
We were so happy to book the Royal Family Suite with its two bedrooms and bathrooms! Having experienced this lovely cabin in the past, we enjoyed the privacy it afforded its occupants, as well as the large living room, closet space, and other perks. We had a separate area for sunning if we chose to on the main deck, a private beach club on Labadee and early embarkation and debarkation, as well as access to the Concierge Lounge. The only complaint, and it is substantial: The soot on the deck, especially when the ship is sailing into a strong wind, is unavoidable and makes the deck uninhabitable.

Poor room service was the only real complaint, it never improved, November 20, 2013
Reviewer: Roy
Pros: Staff had an excellent attitude and were helpful
Cons: Room service was very poor and continued to deliver incorrect orders
Date of cruise: November 1, 2013
Departure port: Southhampton England
Region visited: Transoceanic
Cabin category: Balcony
This was a transatlantic voyage in Nov. 2013. We are experienced cruisers looking for value. The ice skating shows were excellent with the other entertainment just average. Staff was generally friendly and helpful. Room service was poor, but was the fault of the folks taking the order and not the service personnel.
