Pros: Staff, food, service, included shore excursions, all FIRST RATE

Our first ocean cruise with Viking. Small vessel with less than 1,000 passengers which fostered an extremely comfortable environment - not overwhelming. The ship is new (less than two years old). Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent food with a choice of restaurants - no assigned meal times nor seats. Specialty restaurants, along with beer and wine at meals, were included in the price - as was one shore excursion in each port. We have cruised with Viking before - but on their river cruises. They are successfully copying their industry-leading river cruise standards to their ocean fleet. Will definitely sail on their ocean cruises again!
