Love The Old Town and Kadriorg, July 19, 2016
Reviewer: cache

Pros: The Old Town is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site

Cons: City is small

The Old Town is one of the best preserved and intact medieval cities in Europe and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Another significant place is the Kadriorg Park. We also found that taking the tram in Tallin was an adventure! See the 8 minutes intro https://youtu.be/q95GY0-hfG0

A truly fairy tale walled city, September 13, 2010
Reviewer: Todd Todd

Pros: Compact, perfectly preserved,

Cons: It runs the risk of becoming Disneyland, crowds and all

This town is worth all of it's hype. The ships dock right downtown. The city is clearly visible and so you an walk right there. The old town, while quite small, is full of wonderful architecture, delightful squares and plenty of shops. This might be the best place to buy amber. I really like the green amber. I'm not sure you really need a tour. There are tours that go out of town to a hunting lodge. The old town is completely open and easy to navigate although those with walking issues might want to take it easy. There are lots of stairs.
