Pros: None; the OTHER side of the country is beautiful!

Cons: Local port area is VERY dirty and in shambles. Not the true Costa Rica feel.

Walked a few streets into Limon. Awful! Felt unsafe and dirty as ever. Decided to go zip-lining instead. Well worth it. A much better experience. Stopped at beach on way back. Beach was okay, but nothing great. Been to Costa Rica in the past on land vacation and LOVED IT (but was on Pacific side). Costa Rica is amazingly beautiful; just not on the Caribbean side. Don't let this port taint you're view of the country. The other half is remarkable.
