Pros: One word the people

We took a full day tour of this city with Punta del Este. The city is small and compact but if you have a good guide it can easily be done in 1 day. It also has great shopping if you want to buy leather. There is a tax rebate program that refunds 17% of the purchase price. The people in this country are the nicest and friendliest in South America and is is very safe to walk around without a guide. Punta del Este is beautiful and worth the time to see. Have lunch on the beach as we did.
