Pros: A clean if sterile shopping area with a nice wide beach
Cons: You will experience no local flavor without venturing outside the fenced-in port
Nice wide beach with lots of chairs and clear water. Don't be sucked into feeling you need to purchase a ride on the chair lift in order to reach the beach. The lift really only goes over a small bluff and some dolphin pens. I doubt it is even a half mile. Walking to the beach takes maybe 10 minutes at most and requires little effort which we discovered by accident. The wait to purchase a chair lift ticket would have required twice as much time waiting in line as the walk itself required.

Pros: Private beach without locals trying to sell their goods.
Cons: The line for the chairlift was quite long, but worth the wait.
We loved Mahogany Bay and want to return. Private beach for only Carnival guests. Hair braiding (1/2 head) for only $20! Service at the bar was quite slow. Beautiful view, large beach, plenty of lounge chairs. The shops at the port offer everything every other port offers. We did not take an excursion at this port and were happy to just spend a day at the beach. It seemed like everyone wanted to ride the chairlift so the line was very long. I highly suggest purchasing your armbands ahead of time to save wait time.

Pros: Large beach and plenty of lounge chairs
Cons: Shopping area is very touristy
Water at beach is beautiful. Snorkeling is great - especially in "extended" swimming area at end of dock. There are rocks in this area and many fish to see.
