Pros: temples, local food
Cons: not much
Fukuoka has many interesting temples of different style and architecture (mainly Japanese and some Chinese). There is more than enough to do for a half-day visit. t is a pleasant city, with local food items to savor. As with most Japanese cities, it has an extensive and efficient public transit system, including buses and an underground. It's easy to get around this city, without the crowds and fast pace of Tokyo.
