Pros: Mountains meet the beach
Cons: People peddling pictures with the monkeys for money.
This was my favorite island on the itinerary. It reminded me of Hawaii with the mountains and beaches. Once you get off the boat there are a lot of taxi drivers waiting for you. We wanted to go to a nice uncrowded beach and found a driver who took us and a group to Cockleshell Beach. He only charged $5 a person each way and didn't take any money until he picked us back up. On the way back he stopped on top of the mountain so we could all take pictures of the beautiful scenery. Cockleshell Beach was great. The water was perfect. Not a lot of waves. You can rent 2 beach loungers and an umbrella for $15. They have wait service on the beach. Would love to go back and take a tour of the whole island. Island seems very clean and not poor like the other islands.
